Privacy
BasedTrip has no accounts, bookings, payments, contact form or analytics.
Saved guides
When you save a guide with the heart, the list is kept in your browser’s local storage on this device. It is not sent to us, and clearing your browser’s site data removes it.
Google Maps
Some pages show a map embedded from Google Maps. Opening one of those pages sends ordinary request data, such as your IP address and browser details, to Google under Google’s own privacy policy.
Photos
Barcelona’s photos are served by BasedTrip. The other cities’ photos load from Wikimedia Commons, which receives the same kind of request data when your browser fetches them.
Analytics
BasedTrip does not run an analytics service.
